PR 530 A, Evant, TX 76525

Great recreational property with nine water tanks, multiple elevation locations, cover for wildlife and amazing native grass culture. An old house, deer hunter cabin now, with an electric meter at the house. A well, previously operational, but currently unknown by the house. Excellent agriculture use with a set of sorting and loading pens for the 455.41 acre ranch. Wildlife of Whitetail Deer, Rio Grande Turker, Ferel Hogs, Dove and other migratory birds, together with a variety of predators as Coyote, Bobcat, Racoon, Possum, Skunks and others. Location on the Head Waters of the Lampasas River, very secluded at the end of a Private Road with a deeded easement. Great Privacy on the 455.41 acre ranch. Texas History. Current owners Grandfather purchased when U.S. Government expanded the land need at Ft. Hood during World War II from the Saint Elijah Village area. The Saint Elijah Village area had an abundance of Whitetail Deer and this new location did not have any. The transported Grandfather acquired approximately 50 Whitetail Deer from the San Antonio Zoo and released them on the first, if not one of the first, High Deer Proof fence in the region. High fence is not a functioning fence today because there is an abundance of Whitetail Deer now. A very well managed property kept in the same family for nearly a century. A must see.
