Azienda Vitivinicola Armonia del Brunello: Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Manor Villa Montalcino, Siena Tuscany RIF. MON311 In the heart of the Val dOrcia, on the hills of Montalcino, this 11th-century medieval estate houses one of Italys most unique viticultural practices: the vines grow accompanied by classical music, broadcast through hundreds of strategically placed BOSE loudspeakers among the rows. A choice born from agronomic research conducted by the Universities of Florence and Pisa, which explored the effects of musical frequencies on plant health. The vineyard and winery On 3.9 hectares total of which 2.95 hectares are Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and 0.95 hectares Rosso di Montalcino DOC 100% Sangiovese Grosso is trained to guyot and cordone speronato, with a density of 5,000 plants per hectare on clay-limestone soil between 250 and 330 m above sea level. The winemaking cellar covers 800 sqm with over 50 French oak tonneaux for maturation. Technology and agricultural equipment are included in the sale. The annual production is about 37,500 bottles distributed over two Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC labels. The villa The manor villa of 307 sqm is arranged on two levels with independent entrances. Ground floor: living room with kitchen, veranda with fireplace, master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, reception/living area and laundry. First floor: study with terrace, two master bedrooms with private bathrooms (one with a bathtub) and two communicating double bedrooms.
