Arezzo, Tuscany 52100

A prestigious residence on the noble floor of a Renaissance building in the heart of Cortona, where artists of the caliber of Luca Signorelli and Pietro Berrettini contributed to the Baroque-style decorations. Commissioned by one of the most influential families in the region, with strong ties to Florentine nobility, this palace boasts frescoes reminiscent of those found at Palazzo Pitti in Florence. The property spans a single floor of approximately 646 square meters; the spacious lounges, characterized by majestic stone fireplaces, including one designed by Pietro da Cortona, are located in the central area, while the 7 bedrooms, 4 of which have private bathrooms, are arranged along the edges. The spaces are vast and grandiose; what strikes most is the attention and dedication devoted to restoration. For example, the original floors were dismantled to install new systems, with each piece numbered and carefully repositioned. Beneath layers of plaster, the original frescoes and plaster of the walls were recovered, while the marble bathrooms lend timeless elegance to the environment. Coffered or wooden beam ceilings recount the building's history in every corner. Some salons offer enchanting views of Piazza Luca Signorelli, one of Cortona's artistic treasures, where history and culture blend in prominent events such as exhibitions and festivals. This art-filled city is animated by authentic human rhythms. This property represents a unique opportunity for true lovers of beauty, history, and art, for those who relish delving into details and who appreciate the convenience of the historic center, with restaurants and services within easy reach. Ideal for permanent residence or an exclusive guesthouse, it is ready to welcome anyone wishing to experience the essence of Tuscany all year-round.
