Samoëns, Rhône 74340

Barnes Mont-Blanc is pleased to present this alpine chalet dating from 1850, situated in the hills above Samoëns at an altitude of 1,270 metres, in a peaceful and idyllic setting. It sits on over 11,000 m² of land, enjoys a south-east-facing aspect and offers panoramic views of the mountains and the surrounding countryside. This rare property offers an authentic and unspoilt setting, ideal for a renovation project for lovers of the mountains and Alpine heritage. With a living area of 128 m² (154 m² total floor area), this four-room chalet is in need of complete renovation. It currently comprises a living room, a kitchen, a study, a former stable and a cellar on the ground floor, whilst the upper floor features spacious barn-style rooms offering potential for conversion, subject to the relevant planning permissions. Built from timber and stone, it has retained the character of traditional alpine chalets and provides an ideal base for a renovation project that respects its heritage. It has no running water, electricity or a septic tank. There is a spring on the property just above the cabin. Connection to the mains electricity supply would be possible. Situated in the Samoëns area, in the heart of the Giffre Valley and close to the Grand Massif ski area, this property will appeal to buyers seeking nature, tranquillity and authenticity. Its unspoilt surroundings and unobstructed views make this chalet a rare opportunity to create a unique home in an exceptional mountain setting.
