Two hours from Paris, an old relay post and its 6 hectares of woods. Two stone pillars mark the entrance to the property. Former relay post built in 1830, perhaps even earlier, the building is three stories high under a pitched roof with Burgundy flat tiles. It could once admit horses and carriages. The main façade, facing south, is rhythmically punctuated by numerous casement windows with small panes, protected by solid wooden shutters recently restored. A double French window opens directly onto an elevated terrace, entirely paved with terracotta. A few dormers light the attic level. Old troughs line the house and are now scattered with floral varieties. A closed courtyard, surrounded by a dry-stone wall, extends in front of the house and serves the outbuildings nearby. At the rear, a garden occupies the site of an old vegetable garden, the boundaries of which are still marked by two pillars beside a decorative well. A small stone building formerly served to store gardening tools.
