In Mayenne, near Laval, a rural ensemble from the 17th century. The property is accessible via an old sunken lane. Classified in agricultural zone, the surrounding lands preserve the site from urban nuisances. A tree-lined access road leads to a group of six buildings arranged on either side of a courtyard, the oldest dating back to the 17th century. It includes a main residential house, an old henhouse, a workshop with an open garage, two barns, and a large longère. South-facing, the main house offers more than 235 m² of living space. Its stone façades are punctuated by two clipped dormers and crowned with tall stone and brick chimney stacks. The slate roof with a gabled edge on the west side gives the ensemble the look of a small manor. The bays, filled with double-glazed windows, are protected by interior shutters. Surrounding the buildings are pastures enclosed by hedgerows, all on a land area of nearly 4.4 hectares.
