BARNES presents this 19th-century Catalan masia set in the heart of the Baix Empordà, in the sought-after area of Mont-ras, where privacy, authenticity and natural beauty come together to offer a genuinely distinctive way of life close to everything. Set in a privileged location on the edge of the Gavarres natural park and surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, the property preserves the essence of traditional Empordà architecture while offering the comfort and functionality required for contemporary living. The masia has five bedrooms and generous, light-filled spaces, including elegant reception rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and pleasant indoor and outdoor areas designed for relaxation and entertaining. On the ground floor: the main entrance, a spacious living and dining room opening directly onto the garden, the kitchen, and two bedrooms, one double and one suited for up to three children, for example. On the first floor: three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a generous sitting room ideal as a library or study that connects the bedrooms, and a terrace overlooking the gardens and the village, including the church. Restored with respect for its original character, the property retains notable architectural features such as stone facades, vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams and a former olive mill reflecting its agricultural heritage. Outside, a large swimming pool, shaded dining areas and mature gardens create an atmosphere of tranquillity and exclusivity. Ideally located minutes from the beaches of Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Begur, as well as the charming villages and renowned gastronomy of the Empordà, this is an opportunity to acquire an authentic Catalan masia in one of the most sought-after locations on the Costa Brava.
